roguelike in general seems like the type of game genre that gets suddenly really trendy in streamer circles for a short while but not much beyond that
shiren the wanderer got popular with retro vtubers for a bit but i didn't see anyone do more than three streams of it before dropping the game, it must've been short or tanking peoples' numbers
