My biggest problem with terraria is the progression not being so good entering hardcore, the underworld, ice and underground desert biomes barely have any content, and the ice biome loot gets replaced in like 5 minutes, too much focus on the jungle, the way the events are placed in post-plantera progression is also weird since most of it will quickly get replaced. Certain bosses and events can be annoying on Master difficulty like early pirate invasions or the martian madness (specially the boss), double tap to dash is also mechanically awful and has been so as early as NES games, also no idea why mediumcore even exists, Terraria is not designed for losing items on death
