>>104888483The actual answer is that the majority of posts /here/ aren't by actual vtuber fans. They left after the hack to more moderated boards like the tower. Most of the people left /here/ are LARPers or actively hate vtubers and just shit on them to get reactions.
The only people left who actually like vtubers are huddled in their splits, and are only still /here/ because they're not big enough to move offsite.
The idea is that there's supposed to be these "unicorns" who hate X entertainer interacting with men at all because they feel as if they're somehow cheating on the viewer. This is apparently common in Japan or something.
Most fans just see them as entertainment and don't treat them as virtual girlfriends (outside of a few vtubers who cater exclusively to that crowd. Those never end well, though).
