>>93984093The correct answer at almost every non-startup is always something along the lines of "look I love the place I work at the moment. It's great. But.. I noticed that with my current job, while it is comfortable, and I do definitely enjoy it, I haven't really been given the opportunity to grow and challenge myself as much as I'd like to. I'm applying here specifically because firstly the job description is very up my alley and sort of a bit closer to where I wanna be longterm, and secondly because *companynamehere* is very much a lead in *area the job position is for or related to work you could manage to do while working there*, and I figured that by working here not only would I be a bit more challenged and have work that's a bit more on point for what I ideally would like to do at the moment, but also because leveraging the support network within the company I know that if there is something I don't understand or could use a bit of assistance with that I'll always have someone I'm able to talk to within the company to help ensure that I'm delivering value to the level of excellence that I'd like."
It's shit but they just wanna know that you can play the game and at least pretend to give a shit about the work you do.
