>>82898744Stick to a schedule if you can, post said schedule to twitter as your pinned tweet, stream 3-4 times per week, aim for 4-6 hour streams (twitch bumps you up in the algo the longer you go).
Follow/chat/reply to other /asp/ chuubas streams and tweets to get in their heads and make em remember you. If you vibe with someone you can reach out via DM and see if they wanna collab and play something with you on stream, might be scary at first but it doesn't hurt to ask and it's nothing personal if they're busy.
Know that haters will try and latch on to spread false rumors about you but it's literally the same 3-5 weirdos that always respond to each other and nobody ever believes them.
START SLOW if you need. Everyone new gets tired at the 2 hour mark, don't burn yourself out. Stay consistent and stream for as long as you can be entertaining for, then call it. Eventually push yourself to go longer, then those 2 hours will fly by and you'll go for way longer. Turn off viewcount too. Always stream like you're streaming to thousands, because one day you will be!
Drop your link here when you go live and reply to the OP so that it's one of the first things people see when they open the thread. Include an attention grabbing image too like a piece of fanart of yourself.
Always talk. Repeat jokes and stories as much as you need to fill dead air. Remember people are always coming and going so it's fine to double dip on your own material. I can't stress this enough, but it's a live format, not an edited video, it's okay if not every moment is golden. Sometimes it's months of 3-5 viewers till you start seeing 7-12, then it's all up from there.
Now persevere, stand tall, and roll the dice!
