I touched upon that in the Rensta fanfic I never finished ehe.... Ren likes to establish an emotional bond with his potential incubator first before mating, even if he is about to go feral, so a chemical to make them struggle less wouldn't be necessary. It would also contradict with the chemical he releases to make the receiver's muscles constrict during climax (and I don't want to make anyone's body explode from too many chemical reactions www).
As for the primary egg size, they're quite small! Barely the size of a penny. So as long as the receiver is at minimum petite human sized, they should be fine to fit all the eggs. About a dozen of them "die" a few weeks in and serve as nutrients for the stronger eggs, so the incubator won't burst from being overstuffed with more than they can handle.
