>>46906508If you want to exclude all arguments about the people and infrastructure to talk strictly about tourism, there's nothing of real value in LA, your biggest monument is the Hollywood sign and the many beaches. There's a couple museums, but why are you coming to LA to experience museums that only contain international arts? LA has good food, but nothing really "American" that you couldn't get out of a more interesting city (even within California). Honestly it's hard to recommend any singular part of the US for a short trip because the best part is the various things all across the country.
