I'm sure the girls saw Dooby and the fanbase's reaction towards her. For now, holofans are likely going to watch her for the first few months (unless she falls into another lazy tummy hort arc OR worse, male collabs). This positive reception might give them the false impression that they don’t need the holo branding at all, leading them to consider following her path. It's no secret that the girls dislike the grind, the paperwork, the complex Japanese bureaucracy, and the endless, pointless late-night meetings. They put up with all of that because of the views and the money. The fanbase's reaction to Dooby (and to some extent, Sakuna) could shift the dynamic, causing the dominos to really start to fall. From their perspective, what's the point of dealing with all the cons of being in Hololive if they could leave and still enjoy all the pros? The counterargument is Kson and Miguel, but what if Dooby and Sakuna change the dynamic this time? What if we’re witnessing the start of a paradigm shift?
I love Hololive because of the girls, but without them, I can't. Likewise, the girls wouldn’t be the same without Hololive. I’m genuinely conflicted, bros. Thanks for reading my blog.
