Otsonny!! Today's mengen was really comfy, once again I've been waiting for another reading stream for a long time (has it really been 10-ish months??) but I'd say it was worth the wait. Sherlock Holmes... going back to the OG with A Study In Scarlet. It took him a bit to get back into it, from fiddling with the bgm before opting for some cozy ambiance, to taking a chapter or so to find his rhythm with the narration and dialogue. Once he did though, it was hard not to be lulled to sleep, and despite trying my best to pay attention I was definitely dozing off at times. That being said, I do think this is a little easier to follow along with than alice was (even if that was a children's story) just because of the language and more grounded setting. There was still some unfamiliar vocab though, leading to some... pretty funny moments from sonny. We ended up finishing chapter five today! Just like with alice, he does plan on continuing it soon which I have no complaints about after we didn't get a member stream last month. It's been really enjoyable so far; his commentary is cute, I like all the voices he's chosen for narration and the characters, and even if he's gotten more comfortable in his public streams there's still a certain feeling of intimacy you only get behind the paywall KEK. Consider this a shill post, it's worth the five smackers. Thank you for the stream sonny, I've really missed this. I look forward to seeing the development of this odd murder-mystery, though I find the relationship between our leads somewhat entertaining as well. They're just bros I swear. Please please take care of your throat! I swear some shit always happens right before your karaokes... rest well and I'll see you Friday! o7
