has it ever been confirmed who decides the initial direction of a new model is? the theme always seems like an afterthought that's cobbled together with most generations but at the same time I find it hard to believe Cover isn't giving some significant direction in design. Cover management thinking a phoenix/warrior/fast food manager was a perfect character for a mythical generation is too on brand to not be true.
>>19440294Unfortunately I couldn't really see it ending up any other way with huke. The two character traits could work out in a more fantasy-oriented aesthetic, but his sci-fi esque aesthetic could never really make those two traits combine cleanly. A fire mage turned shop-keeper selling roasted chicken would have worked wonderfully for sure, and I know Kiara would have loved that. Honestly the more I think about it the more I feel bad she didn't get to be something else given her interests. She would've been right in her zone from the start given a different character concept.
