The real "you" is the consciousness, and we don't know how it works yet. Some people say it's spiritual, others quantum microtubules in the neurons small enough to interact on a quantum level, other just an emergent phenomena of the brain as a whole.
Personally I think consciousness permeates everything, and when it attaches to a sufficiently capable computer (brain or others) it is able to receive input from the senses. So a robot/IA would technically be able to have consciousness, and therefore be a "person".
