>>7117142The social autism here is that they're just "acquaintances" (at most), not close friends. Even from a parasocial distance watching pomu, you can tell from her announcement stream she was pretty uncomfortable talking about it. There's a difference when in a group of people and someone (pomu) mentions they're going for surgery soon and saying "good luck" as a response, vs someone else saying "hey that person is going for surgery wish them luck". It's the same as someone forcing a spotlight on you, when they have no idea if you're comfortable with that or not. Imagine you're with a group of people talking and someone you're pretty unacquainted with just points at you and says "hey that anon watches vtubers, tells us about that". It's really fucked up, especially in an environment like a collab where there's a ton of eyes. Obviously, no one puts that much thought into what they say, but something like this is really basic in terms of does it "feel" right or not. The only reason I could ever think someone would mention shit like that would be to farm points for making a show of having sympathy/concern for someone. That being said I have never watched Haruka before and have no idea how deep their autism goes.
