>>19262011Hmm I never really considered the "make it" thing due to how late in the game it is and oversaturated the market is. I've just been being myself and utilizing streaming as an extension of what I like and want to do already like gaming and peer advocacy. The "make it" definition is probably highly subjective but indeed I am quite a lot happier now and streaming means a lot to me. If make it means getting accepted into a company that's not something I expect to happen ever, it hasn't been helpful in the slightest to have expectations or rely on not-yourself for me. Even if it's advertising, funding, or tech support. I do want to mention how it's been very surprising the amount of support my viewers/friends have been giving me though, it's well beyond 12-15. Maybe you could say I'm going with more of a crowdfunding kind of model. I've been utilizing the skills and experiences of my people to do everything but the actual streaming down to 3D modeling, software/hardware, and tech support. It's probably not for everyone on /asp/ but, I'm getting steady growth and the only form of donations I've opened up is Steam gifting which honestly I have more games than disk space now. I'm like Steam level 7.
Thanks for the food for thought.
