I really find it hard to believe you've never been scorned by influencer culture. This has been an awful industry since it's inception -- the myth of the moral indie content creator has been dead for a very long time. Of course there are many independent creators with integrity, but precious few are successful.
For me, Hololive is probably bad and I'm waiting for it to go the way of the MCNs of yore, but the other shoe hasn't dropped after all these years and that at least counts for something. Still, it's too hard to forget how the sausage is made.
