Like people saw Ninja Scroll on dvd back in the early 00's and thought that was all anime so any time someone tried to replicate it in the west it was ultra violence and nudity based. Like, that's fine but that isn't all anime and it isn't why all weebs love anime, there are many different genres. I like tits and blood too but come on.
I feel like the kind of people who think that's the top tier of anime are just newly exposed to tits and blood in animated form and it just activates some dormant neurons and they focus all in on one thing.
But if I know one thing about anything it's that I don't now shit about fuck so whatever.
