Alternatively for Nyaru, I'd just say go all out, get a mag fed shotgun. Main reason is that 12ga is not very pleasant to fire and will bruise a woman's shoulder after 2-3 shots. If you can convert some of that recoil into feeding the next shot all the better. Just don't store your shotgun shells in banana mags long-term. It might warp the soft plastic.
