Wasn't that shortly before their Japan trip? Fairly certain Mysta was just lying for opsec or to surprise his audience. He's not afraid to lie if it's for one of those reasons. I remember the whole month leading up to their anniversary he swore to hell and back he didn't know what was going on and that he had nothing planned. Turned out that he did and management fucked up his plans last minute. He lied about not being able to go to MCM Comic Con as well and made a big show about it until a slip of the tongue exposed him later.
I remember an anon pointing out a tell of his when he's lying... his eyes darting around. I believe it's fairly accurate.

He couldn't see why people compared him to Denji today so I kind of doubt he has the self-awareness, kek. But we'll see. I'm thinking he might get pissed at Ame like he did Alphys in Undertale. I'm sure no matter what he'll make it entertaining, though!

I haven't seen this in Mysta's art tags and as far as I know those are the only ones he visits so I don't believe he's seen it either. I think if he knew his mother was involved he'd be pretty shaken up.
I'm really glad Mysta's taking a break this month. I want him to come back with zero awareness of any drama, /fit/ter and mentally healthier.
