Whats up Nerissa. Im glad to see you're going to watch Pride and Prejudice. Im usually a vod watcher but I will actually be joining in and watching live that day. Tell your sister I said hello. Have you read the novel as well? Dont tell anyone because it will ruin my reputation, but im an avid reader. I use to enjoy reading non-fiction but now im a fiction reader. Sometimes I enjoy physically reading and sometimes I enjoy an audiobook if I just want to chill and relax. If you enjoyed the film, you would enjoy the novel as well. Theres tons of free Pride and Prejudice audiobooks on youtube.
>regency eraDo you like the regency era? I like it, its not my favorite era but I greatly enjoy it.
>What is the Regency Era?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sx_jG94W5HcIts funny theres always a new wave of women that love the regency era because of Pride and Prejudice. Its so good, I dont blame them.
>Spanish Colonial eraThis is probably my favorite era. The new world under the Spanish Crown, things have been established enough that you can live your life in the safety and security of an elegant society but at the same time theres uncharted wilderness beyond the town if you want to explore and adventure on horseback. And theres enough lawlessness to have some fun as well.
>The Mask of Zorro - A Very Spirited Dancer (1998)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kaJv6L8vF-YThis is a little bit of what im talking about. Zorro takes place in Los Angeles, California when it was part of the Spanish Empire. I find its a very romantic era and Its hard to find some other eras where life was like this. Beautiful, Elegant, and the people devoutly held our faith. Maybe some French, Italian, or Spanish time frames. The most recent I can think of was post Spanish civil war when Franco won the war. I have heard stories of Spain being at its most beautiful during that era. They said it was a tranquil peace time unlike anything you could imagine. I believe it.
