Why are mothers depicted taller than their daughters? Women do not grow past 16 years old. Once they reach that age, they are set for life at that height. Rinmama is also depicted as taller than Lia. It's not like once they become mothers they grow to be taller than their teenage daughters. So a proper depiction would show Lia and Rinmama having the same height, or Lia being a bit taller.
