She said herself she doesn't want to do superchat reading streams because they're dull but now she's implemented a way to make her streams have even more superchat reading and they are dull, they are almost all so fucking dull. There's a couple dozen jokers in chat who all think they have something to contribute to the stream when they absolutely do not. 90% of the donos she gets aren't funny, aren't interesting, aren't something she can bounce off of and yet she will spend the 10-20 seconds to read every single one which even at the low end adds up to half an hour each stream, and keep in mind that the numbers shown in that image are only superchats, she gets a ton of $1 stream elements donos too and those have even higher character limits.
She used to be so good at bouncing off of chat, she was excellent at knowing which messages to read to keep the flow of the stream going and there were enough good chatters around that she could pick and choose but those days are gone. Chat is too fast for her to keep up with and a good amount of time these days when she does read from chat it'll be something negative or arguing with her because she's started attracting an audience of belligerents.
She can't rely on chat anymore to help make streams entertaining, and she can't rely on donos either, as much as she tries to, and she shouldn't be trying to. How often do we see her these days going to read donos only to reread old ones because there haven't been any new ones in the past 5 minutes? The first couple times it was funny sure but it's a common occurrence now and it's becoming irritating to see. She needs new methods and she needs to start letting donos go unread and the complaints from the idiots throwing singles at her unheard.
