ok Panko, listen up: no amount of meds is going to work if you don't change up your routine. these doctors (especially the private ones) are gonna keep milking you for something that you can (most likely) entirely fix on your own. try this:
- avoid stress or at least learn to deal with it (very important)
- stop eating junk food, ordering takeout and stuff like that. cook yourself, have your family cook for you.
- check for food intolerances (dairy, spicy food etc)
- introduce movement to your daily routine, doesn't have to be workout, just walk a lot, this also helps with stress.
- drink plenty of water etc.
this alone should remove 90% of all digestive problems, and this is where you should start. don't let the doctors scam you into more invasive diagnostics and even more expensive meds until you try these steps first. also, defenitely avoid meds for stress and anxiety, again, learn to manage it yourself, (breathing exercises, mindfulness, etc), try to understand the underlying cause and tackle it.
t. used to visit a lot of gastroenterologists and eventualy psychiatrists for tummy hort, take bunch of meds, nothing seemed to help, learned to manage it myself over time.
