Early this morning Kson had a stream with Loutlot, the head of VShojo JP. They answered a bunch of questions that had been anonymously submitted but one bit of info that came out of that stream was Loutlot listing out some of the reasons that the new members would not come until 2025. One of the reasons being, "They can not debut yet due to 'circumstances'." Given that this is VShojo, the immediate thought for someone not being able to debut yet is them being ex-corpo with some kind of a noncompete contract
Unlike graduated EN's, a JP would likely be held to the details of their contract because they live in Japan or them currently being corpo and graduating soon. You could argue that VShojo doesn't have the pull that necessary to snag someone that big in the JP market, but I'd argue back that there's very little risk for an ex-corpo to debut in VShojo given that if things don't work out and they decide they want to leave they retain their IP and everything.
