From what I understand Ame visited the JP server, which had set up a mob-farm that was in another biome, far away from their settlement. Ame had just spent a month working on building this railroad to nowhere, so she decided to put a mob farm at the other end of this railroad just so it would have a purpose.
But she built the mob farm 3 blocks too low, so it's super inefficient and doesn't actually work properly. Forcing the girls to spend lots of time fishing while they wait for new mobs to spawn, which they only really do out of politeness to Ame so it doesn't seem like her efforts are wasted.
