Their boom in viewers and the amount of eyes on them was in 2018 and 2019 almost definitively, but for a variety of reasons that're almost entirely the fault of Nanashi's hands going places they shouldn't go or the bullshit he pulled with Camomi, they basically went from an up and coming vtuber otaku's household name to... just kinda being there? To say nothing about the weird groups and restructuring and redesigns and just plain bad support. I still don't understand how Rantarou went from collabing with fucking Kanae and making great content with a large variety of people as the perfect collab partner to barely 3view status, but I blame Nanashi.

I mean fucking obviously they do, they were the biggest across the company, but Messan's fans were almost in a complete vacuum compared to the rest of the average 774 fans and Patra's one of those people who has completely separate fanbases. The Denpa crowd, the people who watch her game streams, and the ASMR crowd. There's always some crossover internally but it's not nearly as big as you'd think it is even despite her big numbers, to say nothing of externally. Though her disconnect from the rest of 774 was never as big as Messan's was and any attempts at comparing them would be innately retarded.
