The simplest answer is that Selen's mama liked Selen and was sad when Selen got terminated. Getting them to do Doki's model is sensible.
A less simple but just as valid answer is that Doki can appreciate her time as Selen and "reposses" parts of Selen, like fanbase name, oshi mark, and model artist, because she remembers these things fondly, in spite of how they ended. It's also a service to the fans who stayed with her.
A funny but probably untrue answer is that she wants to dab on nijisanji. This is unlikely because she stated numerous times that she wants to move on, and because of the first two reasons existing we know that this is true and the model doesn't invalidate that. The only people who think it does are seething nyfco cunts who deserve the firing squad.
