In absolute sweatfests, a full Gib main may co-IGL as they would be expected to have a good idea of where to position, read situations and the ring and take pressure off the main IGL.
Yes Gib can be support but if the argument is that "player is experienced and important as Gib" then said player should have input and agency in the team's overall gameplan and shouldn't have to be micro'd for dome and ult.
