Jesus's birthday was always celebrated in early January during the Roman times immediately following his death. It only moved to Christmas when the Catholic Church wanted to usurp the existing holiday of the winter solstice. Christians in parts of the world that don't really care about European culture celebrate it in January. So no, Indonesians don't celebrate Christmas in December. Even the Christian ones don't.
tl;dr Christmas is a pagan holiday that was Christianized for politics and then secularized over time. It's just the natural cycle of things.
