You can get away with fragmenting your audience only so many times before it starts getting into diminishing or even negative returns.The "avoiding taking metrics" narrative doesn't work because they can just create a second channel if they wanted, and apparently vods will be exported on youtube so they will tank regardless. Just be transparent and say you want to numberfag, don't put the blame on the viewers who actually watch you.
