Could try some gachas, don't have to play them for very long and some are enjoyable such as limbus or you could play crpgs like that other anon said, such as bg3, both pathfinder games, rogue trader, neverwinter, divinity original sin 2, tyranny, pillars of eternity, kotor, dragon age(only the first one), Mass effect. I thought i couldn't stomach games like that before but after going through a few of them, they are genuinely some of the most enjoyable games and they come in all manners of settings so (you) can find something that appeals to you
