No one would care if you never played apex and minecraft before, but now everyone will wonder what else did you lie about.
Fake it till you make it is an idiot attitude people will tolerate as long as you provide something of value. Most of the time people see through your bullshit, they're just to nice to point it out, when it's not benefiting them in any way.
