I agree I think maria deserves more opportunities but at the same time management favoritism can't force someone to be successful if the fans don't like them enough. Unfortunately the vtuber scene is very picky and as much as we like to pretend unicorns don't matter or debut order doesn't matter she debuted at an inconvenient time in an inconvenient wave and her living situation is inconvenient for vtuber fans so she'll never be as big as Lazulight despite working just as hard. Ultimately debuting in the 6th wave of an established vtuber group is always going to be risky, the fanbase already have their oshis for the most part so outside of stealing fans from other livers you're always gonna have a low ceiling unless you magically tap into some unique niche like Salome.
