Do your best and treat yourself when you can. Nighttime depression is tough as hell, especially when it keeps you up at night, or if you have severe insomnia like me. If you really can't sleep, maybe get some melatonin so you're at least drowsy.
Also, I'd even say you're better than some schizos /here/ because you actually make a genuine effort despite having it far worse. Keep doing your best.
