I played WOD back in college and ignored Warhammer (vaguely aware it was a thing that existed) for like 2 decades until it started getting big on youtube with lore videos and then Space Marine 1 coming out. WOD is almost larping more than it is TTRPG and core Warhammer is wargaming with minis.
