Wrong, HoloEN died when the EN Homos were conceived.
That's when Cover decided that instead of releasing HoloEN Gen 3 and trying to revitalize that branch and give it a breath of fresh air they would rather chase chinese fujos.
Everything else has been the result of that moment.
HoloEN will never be good until the management is changed and people with actual common sense are in charge.
Will there be HoloEN3? Maybe, probably. Eventually at least.
But what are what are we going to get?
Omega's retarded LORE, COSMIC CONCEPTS, HERE'S THE THIRD VAGUE HYPE TRAILER THAT SHOWS NOTHING ISN'T THIS EXCITING? bullshit killed Council hype.
And who are they choosing? More busy artists who can't commit to a vtuber career? More girls who will use vtubing to boost their personal careers? More sluts and anti social femcels that will throw themselves into any men they can? NijiEN had the brilliant idea of hiring normie zoomers and that turned out great for them, maybe Omega will copy that trick too after how well the homos turned out.
Just imagine it takes 2 years to finally get gen 3 and that's all we get.
A tik tok normie, another artist that quits after 6 months, a femcel that becomes Homo cocksleeve, a grifter using the vtuber persona to boost her personal career.
Last gen we didn't even get a fucking loli, maybe they don't want to give EN more lolis because they're problematic and Omega hates them.
If you are still a fan of HoloEN there's something seriously wrong with you. That entire branch is neglected and in shambles.
It's better to be a fan of the girls, not the company. Except even the girls barely stream anymore.
How's life treating you chumbuds?
HoloEN will forever be one of the biggest wastes of potential in this medium's history. They were handed the entire english world on a silver platter and after all these years all they have to show are declining performance, numbers, relevance, fanfare and support. Meanwhile the JP branch has managed to keep growing and growing and there are more players on the EN vtuber scene than before still thriving.
The problem is not the industry, it's not the market, it's HoloEN's management and the members, Cover not investing or organizing anything for them and to an extent the audience that has not pushed them to improve and better themselves.
That's another issue with them, they have been losing and filtering their audience but the fans that remain are so supportive of them they will tolerate anything and that has deprived HoloEN members and staff of any constructive feedback or the motivation to outperform themselves since everything will be met positively anyway which contributes to their stagnation and decline.
The harmful influence of reddit and simps on HoloEN cannot be understated.
People who blindly clap are not good fans.
The only one that can save HoloEN is Cover but they don't seem that interested, JP is the main business and focus.
Maybe now that they are public investors will see EN numbers and realizethe wasted potential and demand better performance.
Man it's such a shame, I remember being so hyped for HoloEN. I miss year 1 Myth.
