How far do Vtubers have to dissociate from their characters to live a (relatively) normal life? Like I'll see videos of vtubers referring to themselves in the 3rd person and I'm not sure if they are just used to talking in the 3rd person or they are cognizant of this character as being separate from them, like a split personality. With corpos, I imagine it's just some manager/editor handling the posting, but for the indies, is it weird? If I was relatively sure that I was in the same room as Shondo, Alana, or Kirsche and said these names, would they respond or would it just fly over their heads? I know they talk to each other using these names when they stream, but do they turn that switch off (assuming they have a switch) when not at their rigs?
