A possible way to have our cake and eat it too would be do some streams that utilize neuro V1 (Hiyori), as a 3rd character along with Neuro and Evil. Seems like most fans already interpret Hiyori as a separate character in the collective head-cannon lore. And it'd be a good reminder of the old tech, which will make the modern tech more impressive.
