That's unfortunate, I found that making the character nonchalant and confident toward the violence due to their regenerative ability / enjoy the pain made it so I hit the filter less but it feels like a copout. That, and occasionally the "scared" line of thought still happens. It's like she's actively fighting against what the filter is trying to steer her to.
