Gigi huh? Interesting choice of name.
For those who aren't aware, Gigi is a 1958 musical romcom that was highly acclaimed at the time; it won a clean sweep of nine oscars, including best picture, a feat not beaten until Return of the King in 2003.
The story is about Gaston, an upper-class bachelor in his early 30s, who is sick and tired of all the women in society being complete thots. He regularly gets away from the stress of the high life by hanging out with elderly Madame Alvarez and her 15-year-old granddaughter Gigi, whom he greatly enjoys playing cards and goofing around with. Gigi, meanwhile, is being trained by her mom and aunt to be a serial mistress/prostitute for upper class guys, something she's not very happy about. She'd much rather hang out with Gaston, whom she views as an older brother figure.
Long story short the hags try to get Gaston to take Gigi as his mistress, but he gets enraged at the fact they're trying to force her to become another used-up thot just like them. He realizes he's fallen in love with her, so the two get married before she can be corrupted and live happily ever after.
