Frequent superchater here. Basically I wanted to become "part" of the stream, and superchating is a way to do that. You get your dopamine fix not just because your girl pays attention to you, but also the viewers pay attention to you, and sometimes even clippers pay attention to you. Then you can timestamp "your moments" and rewatch the archives to see relive the experience later on. It's a moment where you "stand out"
There are more responsible ways to use money and I changed the way I spend money on my oshi. Eventually I realized there's something sinister about spending money for a little attention of a girl.
