I really hate how the Discover feed keeps showing me american politics despite not living there, not to mention the countless twitter rant posts that I don't care about
A solution is to just not use the Discover feed at all
If you only care about Japanese posts then you can set it so that all algo feeds are only displayed in Japanese, therefore hiding all the burger politics shit
In my case I still have English selected because I have other feeds that only show posts from people I follow that are affected by this setting
