The sharp decrease in melanin in skin and fur is universal, as well as the decrease in body temperature, but the quantity and length of hairs will stay the same. Animals with a higher metabolism, such as small critters like rats, birds or frogs will be more skeletal due to the higher dehydration, while bigger animals will retain more bulk after the deadbeatification. The same goes for humanoid sentients; smaller people like Gemlins or Salamoym will usually be more bony than human deadbeats, while the opposite would apply to people larger than humans.
Also, the change in eye color will apply to all as well.
