>>43341324There is something like a 90% chance of getting an item offered that you already have if it still needs to be leveled up. This means if you start taking items that aren't Halu early, it will drastically delay how long it takes to get Halu, especially if you leave them at less than their full level.
Blacksmith's gear is a great example for this. The 1st level is amazing to get as early as possible, as it will double all future anvils which really adds up. Levels 2 and 3 are less amazing early on because outside a one weapon run you may not have weapons ready to start enhancing... but you still better grab levels 2 and 3 as soon as possible so it doesn't take up another slot in your level up pool nearly every level until you do.
