Pomu was a big fan of ricegnat's Selen/Pomu lewds, and given how that artist specifically draws characters voice by Mint and Doki he's what you'd qualify at the worst kind of shipper.
Doki also didn't distance herself from artists like orca, using her art as thumbnail even before Mint reached out to her on twitter.
I think Mint more than anyone knows how much vicarious joy one can get from simping over a fictional pairing.
