It does feel like she spent the last week reading /vt/ and custom-crafting these statements to appeal however, I guess it's like she's done nothing but just chip away at her reputation here and if she isn't seeing sub growth/kudos from nonstop male collabs she (or Jchad) might wonder what would happen if she swung the other way around.
Also consider a lot of people were surprised by Ame's frankness and maybe Mori (and Mumei) were swooping in looking to try to scoop up any goslings she shook off. Mori used to have quite a few and shed them all, maybe she wants some of that sweet gachi dosh back.
Even so however, she was literally today talking to them a bunch on twitter, it seems kind of fishy. However that is not as impactful (rather everyone expected it) vs what she said.
I don't really trust Mori at fucking all anymore so even an olive branch from her still feels really fucking sus. But for once, she's actually /vt/'s hero of the day, especially compared to Bae also coming in as passive-aggressive and forceful (especially after acting extra-cute all stream to try to butter up the audience, which is pretty manipulative).
