More importantly, I make a distinction between posting in chat as a means of communication and posting in chat as a means of reacting to content.
I don't feel bad scoffing at them when thet are being stupid, just like I don't feel bad briefly congratulating them when they succeed.
In a similar vein, I am never worried if any advice I post goes unnoticed by them, because some other Ruffians will always notice it and soon enough the entire chat will be echoing my wisdom.
