>>28568264Yes, basically. In-universe this map is several decades out of date, as it's a map meant to represent Pomerlane's time, not modern times.
>>28568290Sort of. The Nijicontinent does not work exactly like the Holocontinent. Our splits do not separate neatly from the main general, not in terms of posters or thread culture -- while there are differences, there's also overlap and discussions are sometimes cross-threaded. The way things are set up, the IC split kingdoms represent posters from both /nijiEN/ and the actual splits. The kingdoms are loosely held together as an Empire, representing /nijiEN/, but the Empire is plagued by disagreements and constant civil war. Meanwhile, /nijiEN/'s actual territory, the Badlands, will not be properly "reclaimed" by any of the split's kingdoms. This is partially to represent what an absolute trash fire the main general is, and partially so that if an anon comes along who wants to write about /nijiEN/ as a confederacy or something, they can do that, unlikely as it would be. I know this may spark some controversy, so let me attempt to preempt some of that by stating that this was agreed on not just between the two of us. This conclusion was reached after several discussions, involving both thread regulars and many Nijianons from both the splits and main general who lurk here but do not post regularly. The former NijiEN rep, who is still here and sometimes collaborates with us but who handed over the job to me due to her IRL commitments, also agreed it made more sense this way
>>28568554>>28568961>>28569056In addition to my reply to the other poster concerning the map, anons have agreed that the Nijiborders as a whole need to be redefined due to things like /dsw/. Please do not be alarmed. New borders have also been discussed by the thread as a whole, and Panon's old map does not reflect the changes agreed upon. All Niji-related maps at this time should be taken as non-canon and soon subject to change. We already timelooped this three times, it does not need to happen again.
