>>78266003I guess depends on what you are going for, if you just want to make characters in different styles and nice looking backgrounds 1.5 is still fine. XL models are generally better because you can get more complex posing and scenes out of it and it listens to prompts much better. Also hands are generally not a nightmare anymore. Quality is subjective so can't really comment on that.
The anime models also have styles built in that you can mix without LoRA but most use LoRAs anyway kek.

It should be plug and play but need to update to the latest webui and if you have less that 8GB Vram you need to use this version otherwise gens will be really slow.
>StableArti and Heart of apple are pretty hard to use, so I wouldn't start with them but others should be fairly good for all purposes.
