World leaders, in government and the wealth that puts them there all know about this.
The lab virus is just a boosted type of natural kind. A virus never wants to kill its host, it only wants to spread. A smash and grab operation of sorts. Death is always accidental. If boosted too much a virus becomes less contagious. For example ebola, which has a terrible 50/50 chance death isn't easily spread at all. Ebola will never go pandemic.
