Only EOPs believe they mean "family" in a literal sense. It's a way for corpos to makr their employees swear allegiance by making them see their coworkers as their brothers and their bosses as their parents, therefore preventing discent and forge a sense of unity.
And besides, even if it was a literal "family" they're referring to, there's literally no family of more than 10 people who doesn't have conflicts. Hell, families of three have conflicts everytime, and Hololive's isn't even the worst considering the whole "family conflict" started because one tried to fuck with the rests privacy just to save face.
Unless you guys are mad at this because you have no family of your own and need that experience in virtual youtubers.
