I have a coworker who divorced someone several years ago. Every now and then, because she was with that person for a long time, she has a story from that part of her life.
It's not exactly a strange thing. In the same way that you might part ways with a friend and still talk about stories with "a friend I had at that time."
Really this thread is just showcasing how socially stunted this board is.
And I'm saying this as someone who hasn't left his house for a social occasion in years.
